Adenes buys into WA assessor

Claims solutions provider Adenes Australasia has bought a majority stake in WA heavy vehicle, machinery, plant and equipment assessing company Arc.

Adenes Australasia was formed in June when vrs ANA Australia acquired a majority stake in New Zealand loss adjuster Citywide Assessors. The business is headed by Sydney-based CEO Chay Wilkinson.

The move followed ANA Chartered Loss Adjusters rebranding as vrs ANA in 2023 and joining the Adenes Group after French loss adjuster vrs Vering bought a stake.

Paris-based Vering CEO and vrs Adjusters president Tancrede Stagnara says the Arc Assessing acquisition will “provide even more insurance claims solutions for the regional market. Arc’s single-mindedness in terms of quality, timely and pragmatic expert solutions for their clients makes this an easy partnership, one that will strongly complement the group and its growth ambitions.”

Adenes now offers adjusting and assessing services in Australia and New Zealand across property, casualty and specialty classes, and says insurance clients will benefit from increased offerings, technology and scale.

Arc CEO David Daly will work alongside Mr Wilkinson and vrs ANA Australia chair Jaye Kumar.

vrs Vering’s clients include Europe’s largest insurers, and the vrs Adjusters group has more than 300 offices in 140 countries.
