vrs ANA teams with NZ loss adjuster

Claims solutions provider vrs ANA Australia has acquired a majority stake in New Zealand loss adjuster Citywide Assessors.

The pair now make up Adenes Australasia, headed by Sydney-based group CEO Chay Wilkinson.

Citywide CEO Daniel Lottering, based in Auckland, says he looks forward to “continued alignment in terms of our growth in New Zealand and the region.

“Adenes Australasia’s enthusiasm for Citywide’s national coverage and market trajectory gives us fantastic opportunities to diversify and continue our client-first approach to loss adjusting solutions.”

Citywide will maintain local operational control and work with Adenes leaders in the region on account management and catastrophe and specialty support.

In 2023, ANA Chartered Loss Adjusters rebranded as vrs ANA and became part of the Adenes Group after French loss adjuster vrs Vering bought a stake.

Paris-based Vering CEO and vrs Adjusters president Tancrede Stagnara said: “Citywide is a great business and we have seen ... innovative, practical and efficient assistance on claims.”
