Relive uni days with ANZIIF seminars

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance says its first Business School event offers a “university-style learning experience”, featuring industry figures speaking on key topics.

Expert-led sessions will examine the future direction of insurance; cyber trends; and the growing impact of natural catastrophes, featuring insights from Munich Re Australasia analytics manager Mei Sun Yee.

There will also be a panel session on quality assurance and regulatory operations, with representatives from the Australian Financial Complaints Authority sharing details and guidance on the industry’s compliance with code requirements.

“The inaugural ANZIIF Business School brings insurance professionals together to inspire fresh thinking, build connections and strengthen capability across the industry,” the institute said.

More speakers will be announced before the event at the University of Technology Sydney on June 18 from 8am-5pm.

Early bird tickets are available until May 7, priced at $99 for ANZIIF members and $118 for non-members for a single session.

Each session will award 1.5 ANZIIF CIP points.
