ProRisk operations chief departs
Jaydon Burke-Douglas has left ProRisk after five years, most recently as general counsel and head of operations at the underwriting agency.
Sydney-based Mr Burke-Douglas says he is leaving “with some regret and sadness”.
“When I was tapped on the shoulder to come and work for the business, I bought into the vision of creating Australia’s leading technology-enabled underwriting agency and sharing in the ownership of what we were creating,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “Those efforts will continue to pay dividends to the business for many years to come. Thank you to the incredible brokers who supported me.”
Mr Burke-Douglas previously spent six years at Dual and three at Zurich.
Last year he raised more than $7000 for Cancer Council Australia by climbing the 15 tallest peaks in Australia in three days. He previously drove a tuk-tuk across India and in the Mongol Rally for charity.
