Program confirmed for Insurance News tech event
An impressive line-up of leading speakers has been confirmed for Beyond the Buzzwords – a technology conference organised by Insurance News and Insurtech Australia.

Marsh head of digital trading for the Pacific region Mark de Hosson will debate “build or buy” with Kanopi CEO Nigel Fellowes-Freeman, and Sedgwick’s Kimberley Daley tackles claims acceleration, before attendees get to vote in an insurtech pitch contest.
The Insurance Council of Australia’s counter-fraud CEO Andrew Gill will address emerging threats from digital and AI, Compliance Advocacy Solutions MD Paul Muir and Curium CEO Tetiana George will discuss compliance and risk reduction, and QBE’s Joanna Aldridge will offer insights on catastrophe modelling.
Steadfast CTO David Gillespie will explore broker platforms, before the event concludes with strategic insights from a carefully selected tech leaders panel made up of IAG CIO Tony Craddock, Suncorp CIO Mike Wood, Allianz CTO James Fitzpatrick and Upcover CEO Skye Theodorou.
