Kaplan Professional has launched a dedicated Master of Financial Services course that it says is the only one of its kind in Australia. 

The course has 12 subjects, and the education provider is also offering a diploma with eight subjects, and a certificate with four. Students can choose from 39 elective subjects. 

CEO Brian Knight says the online postgraduate courses suit large financial institutions eager to upskill employees. 

“There was a great calling for customisable and flexible postgraduate courses,” he said. “The sector sees the value of education and corporate organisations investing in the learning and development of their employees. 

“It enhances professionalism, fosters innovation and contributes to success in an increasingly complex and ever-changing financial services landscape.” 

Kaplan, which offers six annual intakes, says academic experts can work with employers to design new subjects if necessary.  

Enrolments for the current intake are open until March 20, with further intakes this year in April, July, August and October.
