Clyde & Co says Malcolm Wood will rejoin the law firm as a partner next month.  

Mr Wood specialises in corporate and regulatory sectors and has expertise in governance, funding and distribution, mergers and acquisitions, plus commercial agreements.  

He also has experience advising on major claims in financial lines, and directors’ and officers’ matters.  

Mr Wood returns after eight years at Gilchrist Connell, where was a principal. He was a senior associate at Clyde & Co from 2014 to 2017.  

Clyde & Co Australia managing partner Rebecca Kelly says Mr Wood, who will be based in Sydney, “significantly enhances our corporate commercial, insurance and regulatory capabilities”.

The move follows the appointment of Yvonne Lam, who also returned as a partner after time at Gilchrist Connell.
