Clyde & Co says Yvonne Lam will return as a partner to focus on growing the Asia-Pacific corporate insurance business.

Ms Lam, who previously worked at the law firm for more than a decade to 2023, will also handle transactional, regulatory and commercial advisory matters.  

She was previously with Gilchrist Connell, where she was a principal and head of corporate insurance and insurtech.  

In her earlier spell at Clyde & Co, she spent two years as a special counsel, advising large insurers on mergers and acquisitions, portfolio transfers, regulatory approvals and corporate restructures.  

Clyde & Co Australia managing partner Rebecca Kelly says Ms Lam’s return “marks an exciting step for the firm in the continued growth of our corporate insurance and regulatory practice across Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region”.
