Chubb has made three key appointments in its Australian and Asia-Pacific operations.  

Hamish Elliot will rejoin as strategic partnerships manager for Chubb Australia’s accident and health team. 

He previously worked at the insurer from 2014 to 2017 before spending eight years at underwriting agency Blend as broker distribution and strategy head.   

“Having spent time away, it’s even clearer to me why Chubb stands apart – [its] commitment to underwriting craftsmanship, claims excellence and the calibre of the people is second to none,” Mr Elliot wrote on LinkedIn.   

In the Asia-Pacific legal and compliance team, Jin Lee has been promoted to executive VP and legal counsel for general insurance operations. 

She will also serve as legal counsel for Chubb’s global life business.  

Mark Eggleton has been appointed senior VP for the regional team and will also be general counsel for legal strategy and government affairs in Asia-Pacific.
