The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance has opened submissions for its annual industry awards.

The 22nd Australian Insurance Industry Awards feature 15 categories spanning general and life insurance, broking, claims, underwriting, insurtech, authorised representative networks, professional services and service providers. 

Two honours recognise outstanding individual leadership and lifetime contribution to the profession. Last year, Aon, CBN, NTI and QBE took key prizes, while Robert Kelly and Ian Carr won individual awards.     

“We recognise the achievements that build capability in our industry and inspire the next generation of insurance professionals,” the institute’s head Katrina Shanks said.  

Submissions are open until May 17. The awards will be presented at the International Convention Centre Sydney on August 13.
