Prevail ‘enhances and simplifies’ farm package
Prevail says changes to its farm offering give brokers a “stronger, clearer and more efficient” way to address client needs.
Previously branded as Farm, the “enhanced” Prevail Elite Farm Insurance comes with increased limits across assets such as machinery and livestock, and cyber cover that reflects the growing use of technology in agriculture.
It also features a “clearer structure” across five core covers: farm property and livestock; equipment breakdown; farmers’ liability; domestic property; and farm vehicles/agricultural machinery.
“This one means a lot to us,” Steadfast-owned Prevail’s CEO David McMurdo said of the revamp.
“We’ve simplified the product, broadened appetite, and increased limits and capacity to protect the modern-day farmer. We’ve also added protection for evolving risks, including cyber and social engineering.”
Prevail says the product is available through Simplafy Connect – the personal lines platform Steadfast launched in 2024.
“Much of farm insurance in Australia is still traded manually,” Mr McMurdo said. “We’ve fully digitised the journey, giving our 12,000-plus registered brokers a more intuitive experience, with our experienced farm underwriters right behind it.”
