Dave Stott has been appointed branch manager and director at McLardy McShane in Melbourne.

He is co-founder of workplace risk management business Proact Australia, claims software group Commtraka and former brokerage Capital Innovation Insurance Group Victoria.

Mr Stott was formerly Coverforce head of broking for Victoria and has held senior positions at Adroit and CGU, and brokerages OAMPS, East West, Sunshine State and Garden State.

He says his new role is “an exciting opportunity to join an established business, to lead, influence and accelerate its next growth phase.

“As I move past 30 years in the insurance industry, I’m highly motivated and energised to continue to drive genuine positive influence, professional outcomes and innovation as our industry continues to evolve and embrace the digital world.
