Marsh Risk appoints new regional claims leader
Jonathon Fox has been appointed Asia-Pacific claims leader at Marsh Risk.
Adelaide-based Mr Fox says the expanded role includes responsibility for claims operations, claims advocacy, the Risksmart business and claims management services for the Pacific region. He has also joined the region’s executive team.
“This is such a great opportunity to build a seamless, practical and truly client-first claims experience,” he said on LinkedIn.
At the end of last year, Mr Fox stepped down as QBE Australia Pacific chief claims officer after eight years in the position.
He was previously GM at Elders Insurance and is a former chairman of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
Meanwhile, Sydney-based Catherine Osborne has left Marsh. She had been Pacific region chief claims officer since 2021.
“As my time at Marsh comes to an end, I would like to thank so many wonderful colleagues, clients, carrier partners and other industry professionals for your support and for making each day so much fun,” she said.
And David Brumpton has been appointed to a new head of client services role at Marsh Pacific.
He was formerly SA state executive after Marsh bought JLT, and also held the role of chief client officer energy Pacific. He returns to Marsh from Singapore.
“We know David will be a strong advocate for our clients – listening to what they need and responding to their challenges with the full strength of our business,” Marsh said.
Mr Brumpton says he is excited to bring “the right people and capabilities together from across Marsh, so we’re solving real problems and delivering outcomes that truly matter to our clients”.
