Gareth Carpenter has been promoted to CEO of broking at Steadfast-owned Coverforce.

Sydney-based Mr Carpenter was most recently national broking manager. He previously spent four years at Austbrokers Corporate, finishing as managing principal at SRS Broking, a wholly owned brokerage specialising in natural resources and retail.  

He also founded GBC Insurance Solutions, and spent five years at Gallagher and six at JLT.

“A seasoned insurance professional, Gareth employs innovative strategies to craft insurance solutions ... He excels at identifying client needs and cultivating long-term partnerships,” Coverforce said.

“His deep experience in designing, placing and managing customised insurance programs reflects a solid grasp of both local and global business environments, as well as emerging markets.”

In May, two Coverforce veterans founded Barangaroo-based Ferguson Brown Insurance Brokers.  

Andrew Ferguson had been the broker’s MD for 12 years, while Nathan Brown spent more than 18 years at the company, finishing as national EGM of broking.
