Aon has promoted Mary-Catherine Hamill to be its Australian head of construction, overseeing the portfolio with support from the broker’s global operations.

Ms Hamill joined Aon in 2015 as national professional indemnity practice leader.

She is currently Australian specialty solutions placement leader, working in directors’ and officers’ cover, professional indemnity, financial institutions, crime, cyber, trade credit, and mergers and acquisitions. 

Before joining Aon, Ms Hamill was Australian professional indemnity head for Axis Capital. She has also worked for AIG and Liberty Mutual Insurance.
