Meet Dave: 360Globalnet unveils 'virtual visits' technology

Claims specialist 360Globalnet has created a new technology called Digitally Assisted Visit Experience (D.A.V.E.) to replicate face-to-face site attendance.

The online product replicates in-person visits without the associated costs or dangers and can be used in situations where an insurer would usually send a representative, agent or loss adjuster to collect information and assess damage.

“D.A.V.E. is a product ideally suited to these challenging times but ultimately it can also change companies’ whole business models for information-gathering, removing cost and hassle while maintaining high customer engagement and satisfaction,” CEO Paul Stanley said.

He says that unlike simple live-streaming technology, D.A.V.E. has a comprehensive feature set to provide a customer-friendly experience.

Among its features is an online customer-guided data and video capture feature that is peril-specific, as well as live streaming video and virtual interviewing.

Customers can also request real-time online help from their claims handler or adjuster and the system will automatically identify online users who need help.
