‘Full-circle moment’: Warden returns to Chubb to lead P&C
Kathleen Warden has begun work as Chubb head of property and casualty for Australia and New Zealand.
She has been AIG Australia CEO since May last year, but she resigned in April and her notice period ended this month.

“Her technical underwriting expertise and deep local market experience will be instrumental to the continued strategic growth of our P&C portfolio,” Chubb said today.
Almost two decades ago, Ms Warden worked at Chubb as a senior underwriter.
“A full-circle moment in my career this week as I return to Chubb, where my journey in insurance first began,” Sydney-based Ms Warden said on LinkedIn.
“I’m delighted to be back, reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new colleagues and looking forward to reconnecting with our customers and brokers on the opportunities ahead.”
Former Chubb country president for Australia and New Zealand Ben Howell departed that role in April and has since begun proceedings in the Federal Court.
Chris Colahan – who left AIG late last year – is Chubb’s acting country president.
