Online business insurance broker BizCover has expanded its partnership with Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, adding the insurer’s management liability product to its digital platform.

The product, launched today, provides protection across five key areas: directors and officers liability, company liability, employment practices liability, statutory liability and crime.

It also has extensions covering crisis management, public relations and court attendance costs.

It is aimed at SMEs with annual turnover up to $25 million and up to 200 employees, offering cover limits up to $5 million.

“We’re focused on giving SMEs easier access to quality insurance products from trusted insurers,” BizCover CEO and founder Michael Gottlieb said. “The addition of BHSI further strengthens the choice available to customers seeking management liability cover.”

The launch comes after BizCover was appointed exclusive digital distributor for BHSI’s professional indemnity insurance product last year.
