Zurich reaffirms Mr Perfect partnership

Zurich has announced it will continue its six-year partnership with men’s mental health charity Mr Perfect after renewing its collaboration for another 12 months.

The grassroots charity promotes awareness of men’s mental health by encouraging members to engage in conversations and connect with others through hosted events. The charity hosts events at more than 40 locations across Australia.

Zurich Australia & New Zealand Brand, Marketing and Corporate Affairs Head Linda Griffin credited Mr Perfect's efforts to create “a safe space for meaningful conversation between men.”

“We know that mental health conditions are on the rise, and that reluctance to seek help disproportionately affects men,” Ms Griffin said.

“A recent national study found 21.6% of females in Australia saw a professional for their mental health compared with just 12.9% of males.

“Zurich is committed to improving the accessibility of mental wellbeing programs in the community.”

Mr Perfect CEO John Mooney thanked Zurich for its continued contributions and efforts to support the charity.

“Mr Perfect strikes a chord because it offers an entry point into mental health awareness and support in the community,” Mr Mooney said.

“With Zurich’s support, Mr Perfect has been able to uplift its offering and reach in recent years. We are excited for another year of support and the continued impact this will have in the community.”
