AIBEC to host inaugural conference
The first conference organised by the Association of Insurance Building & Engineering Consultants will be held in Sydney on July 23.
The full-day event at the Amora Hotel will be followed by a two-hour cocktail function.
The association – which aims to improve expert reports on losses – says it is the “must-attend annual event for building, engineering and other consultants working in the insurance industry”.
The conference, themed “achieving better claims outcomes”, promises networking with engineers, builders, claims specialists, loss adjusters, brokers and insurers.
The line-up of speakers includes the NSW Building Commission’s Matt Press, the Insurance Council of Australia’s Alexandra Hordern, the Australian Financial Complaints Authority’s Emma Curtis, Codafication’s Bryn Mckay, Riverwall Constructions’ Frank Mamasioulas, Sedgwick’s Bruce McKenzie, Swaab’s Helen Kowal, icare’s Liam O’Sullivan, RIC Solutions’ Tim Law and DLA Piper’s Sophie Devitt.
Early bird discounts are available until July 7 here.
