Zurich exec joins ANZIIF breakfast debate
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance has added Zurich chief underwriting officer Matthew O’Sullivan to the line-up for its Great Insurance Showdown.
He will join a roundtable debate alongside National Insurance Brokers Association CEO Richard Klipin and Underwriting Agencies Council chief Jenny Bax, with CHU Underwriting CEO Kim Jonsson moderating.
Institute chief Katrina Shanks says the debate will cover power balances and tensions between stakeholders in the industry.
“Our inaugural debate promises a high-energy morning of insight and industry-leading perspectives,” she said.
“I can’t wait to hear brokers, insurers and agencies face off to argue which sector is really running the show!”
She says the debate will also examine industry issues including proposals arising from the federal inquiry into the 2022 floods and how the industry can better serve customers.
The General Insurance Breakfast will also feature Insurance Council of Australia regulatory and consumer policy GM Alexandra Hordern delivering regulatory insights and updates.
The event is on July 16 at Doltone House Hyde Park in Sydney, from 7am to 9.15am. Buy tickets here.
