Xceedance gets behind homelessness charity

Xceedance has become an official charity partner for homelessness support group Orange Sky Australia.

The insurance technology business will contribute to Orange Sky’s mission to offer free showers and mobile laundry services to people facing homelessness or other hardships.

Xceedance key accounts business leader for Australia and New Zealand Prateek Vijayvergia says the move reflects the company’s “broader commitment to supporting innovative, community-driven solutions to critical social issues”.

“In the face of a national housing crisis and soaring living costs, more Australians than ever are finding themselves without secure shelter,” he said. “It’s a privilege to support Orange Sky’s mission and help create positive, lasting change in communities across the country.”

The partnership follows Xceedance’s support for charity initiatives including the Children’s Cancer Institute’s Dare to Cure and City2Surf Sydney.

Orange Sky co-founder and CEO Lucas Patchett said: “Through Xceedance’s incredible generosity, Orange Sky will be able to deliver 35 shifts, complete 208 loads of laundry, provide 139 warm showers and – most importantly – create over 300 hours of meaningful conversation between our friends and volunteers.”
