Wotton Kearney appoints cyber partner

Wotton Kearney says Lana Remedi will join its Sydney office as a partner.

Ms Remedi specialises in cyber law and joins the firm after four years at Colin Biggers & Paisley, where she was a special counsel.

She has also worked at HWL Ebsworth, Kennedys and Sparke Helmore, and she currently serves on the Australian Insurance Law Association’s NSW committee. She is founder and chair of the association’s cyber committee.

Earlier this year, she was named a cybersecurity professional of the year at the Australian Cyber Awards.

Wotton Kearney cyber, privacy and technology head Kieran Doyle said: “Lana has a strong reputation in cyber and data protection. Her deep expertise and thought leadership in the industry, which is well regarded in the market, make her an exceptional addition to our team.”
