Sparke Helmore has hired Patrick Tuohey as a partner in its specialty lines team.  

Mr Tuohey specialises in professional indemnity and has experience defending claims involving accountants, mortgage brokers, real estate agents, lawyers and construction workers.  

Melbourne-based Mr Tuohey also provides advisory services for insurer clients.  

He joins from Colin Biggers & Paisley, where he was a partner for more than 12 years. As part of the move, he will bring along special counsel Hilary Stokes.
