The Melbourne Marine Insurance Forum will host a presentation by Sedgwick’s Adrian Brown on fire risks at sea.

The session will also examine threats to vehicles and batteries, plus new fuel-related hazards.

Mr Brown, Sedgwick’s marine fire performance director, has previous experience as a fire officer and port liaison in the UK.

He spent more than 38 years with the UK Fire and Rescue Services and has held fire risk advisory roles across the UK, US, Middle East and southeast Asia.

The presentation is from 11am to noon tomorrow at the Colin Biggers & Paisley office at 181 William Street in Melbourne.
