NTI raffle raises a truckload for MND fight

NTI has raised $467,910 to support motor neurone disease research through its eighth annual truck raffle, giving away vehicles worth a combined $285,000.

For the first time, the prize included two vehicles, with a new Toyota Tundra and a New Age Caravans Manta-Ray MY25 up for grabs.

The transport and logistics insurance specialist’s MD Tony Clark joined MND and Me Foundation CEO Jane Milne at the NTI Townsville 500 Supercars round to announce the winner – Robert Monks from Tasmania.

NTI has raised more than $2.5 million for the foundation via the fundraising events. Last year’s raffle of a restored 1946 Ford Jailbar truck, nicknamed Bonnie, made $483,000.

The company began its work with MND and Me in honour of former CEO Wayne Patterson, who died of the disease in 2018.
