New partner ‘adds depth’ to Clyde & Co Brisbane team
Clyde & Co has named Janine Clark as a partner in its Brisbane office.
She will join the law firm’s casualty claims defence team, focusing on personal injury claims, third-party property damage and coverage disputes.
Ms Clark joins from Kennedys, where she was a special counsel since 2022. She previously worked in the UK, including on several large loss and catastrophic injury cases for motor and public liability insurers.
She is a committee member with the Association for Women in Insurance Queensland.
Clyde & Co insurance head Gareth Horne said: “Janine has a deep connection with both the domestic and London markets and her introduction, in the Brisbane office, will add further depth and technical excellence to our casualty practice.”
Australian managing partner Rebecca Kelly says Ms Clark joins at a time of growth, with continued investments in the insurance team ahead of “growing client demand”.
The appointment follows the addition of Simone Herbert-Lowe as a partner last month.
