McLardy McShane conference raises more than $400k
A staggering $416,000 was raised for charities at McLardy McShane’s “Orangestone” group conference last week in the Blue Mountains.
“At the final dinner, we got a real feel of the power of our combined group when our delegates stood up and pledged an incredible $208,000 to support our community initiatives that were displayed during the day,” executive chairman Don McLardy said.
“With a matching contribution from McLardy McShane, it means we have more than $400,000 to distribute to our charity partners, which makes a very significant impact.
“At the conference, we acknowledged the tragic passing of two or our team members – Oli Cenedese and Craig Matters. Their wives and children will also be some of the major beneficiaries of everyone’s generosity.”
Supported charities include CureEB and Tilly Wilkes, Reach Foundation, Danny Frawley Centre, Black Dog Institute, Love Your Sister, Soar Foundation Ireland, and Women for Women in Africa.
As insuranceNEWS.com.au has reported, a new management structure was unveiled at the event, with Meg Long appointed CEO of McLardy McShane Partners and Nick McLardy named CEO of McLardy McShane Insurance Advisors.
