Lloyd's new country head takes up ICA seat

Changes to Lloyd's local leadership have prompted a shake-up on the Insurance Council of Australia board, with Tracey Bryan being made a Non-Executive Director.

Ms Bryan, Lloyd’s incoming General Representative in Australia and Vanuatu, will replace Chris Mackinnon, Lloyd’s outgoing Regional Head of Australia and New Zealand, who joined the Insurance Council board in 2017.

“I welcome Tracey to the board as we bid farewell to Chris and wish him luck in his new role as Lloyd’s Regional Director for Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa,” Insurance Council CEO Andrew Hall said.

“Chris has contributed a wealth of experience and provided insights on the global insurance market and reinsurance solutions for a wide variety of risks. We look forward to working with Tracey and to continue our valued relationship with Lloyd’s.”

Ms Bryan will start her new role at Lloyd's on April 1, adding to her existing position as Head of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Asia-Pacific. Her elevation is among several leadership changes for the Australian business as Mr Mackinnon takes up his expanded role based in Singapore.
