Kennedys recruits health expert

Kennedys has added Natalie Orola to its Brisbane offices as a partner.

Ms Orola specialises in healthcare, with more than 15 years’ experience representing Australian and international insurers in medical defence litigation and professional indemnity claims.

Her practice has included the defence of medical negligence claims, coronial investigations and Medicare inquiries and complaints.

She also advises medical defence organisations, underwriting agencies, brokers and self-insured groups on healthcare and professional lines topics.

Ms Orola joins from Wotton Kearney, where she was a special counsel for five years. She has also worked at Ashurst and Moray & Agnew.

“With over 15 years’ experience acting for insurers and her practical approach, she is a great cultural fit for Kennedys and will play a key role in growing our healthcare practice in the region,” said partner and healthcare team leader Cindy Tucker.
