Insurance Advisernet fills GM southern role

Insurance Advisernet has appointed Danny Ravenhill as GM of regional operations for the south.

He will replace Andrew Borden – recently promoted to the newly created role of GM operations at the broking network – from June 23.

Mr Ravenhill is currently Chubb’s national cornerstone relationship manager. He joined the insurer in July 2021 as national cornerstone key account manager, according to his LinkedIn.

Before Chubb, he worked at QBE as regional head of sales and relationship management.

IA says Mr Ravenhill will be responsible for managing its authorised representatives’ practices in Victoria, Tasmania, SA and WA.

He will work with the southern region team and the broader IA business to deliver strategic support and growth initiatives to practices, and to recruit, onboard and support new ARs.

Mr Borden said: “Danny brings with him a wealth of experience … His extensive insurance background, which includes a range of underwriting and business development roles, will undoubtedly be an asset to the network as we continue to grow and innovate.”
