HDI Global has appointed Mathew Tully as a financial lines underwriting manager at its Queensland office.

Professional lines head Justin Klietz says Mr Tully is “a highly valued new addition to our Australian team ... known for his deep industry knowledge and client-first approach.

“I am thrilled to have him on board to take our financial lines offering to the next level in the Queensland market.”

Mr Tully joins from Dual, where he was a financial lines senior underwriter for more than four years.

He has more than a decade of underwriting experience, also including roles at Liberty Specialty Markets, Guild Group, Allianz and QBE.

“I am excited to join the company and I look forward to growing the HDI Global brand here in [Queensland],” he wrote on LinkedIn.
