Commercial property insurer FM has made changes to its Australian client service team following the appointment of Brendan Ellis to a UK role.

Mr Ellis moves from his job as assistant client service manager for Australian operations to be VP client service manager for London operations, effective September 1.

“We extend our congratulations to Brendan in his new role,” Australia and New Zealand operations manager Andrew Stafford said.

“While FM will certainly miss his leadership, the transition has created an exciting opportunity to promote two outstanding leaders from within our team.”

Ben Wyatt has been appointed VP client service manager for Australia and New Zealand, and Mairead Perkins becomes VP assistant client service manager.

Mr Wyatt joined the business in 2012 as a loss adjuster before progressing to a senior general adjuster role. Most recently he has served as a senior account manager.

Ms Perkins joined FM in 2021 after working at Chubb and Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance as a senior property underwriter.

The two appointments took effect at the start of last month.
