Market Lane Insurance Group has brought in former Arag Australia CEO Natasha Gale as a partnerships and strategic growth executive consultant.

Ms Gale joins on a contractual basis and will help integrate Arag’s legal expenses insurance portfolio into Market Lane’s operations, after the pair reached a renewal agreement last month.

German insurer Arag exited the Australian market in July after opening its local operations in 2019. Ms Gale had been its CEO for just over four years.

Her previous experience includes time at Wesfarmers Insurance, Hunter Premium Funding and NSW state insurer icare, plus several roles in the banking industry.

Market Lane says Ms Gale will also collaborate with partnerships and engagement group head Matthew Porteous to support the broker network and further strengthen partnerships.
