DWF partners take on APAC roles
Law firm DWF says two of its Dubai-based partners will move to Australia to take senior roles in its Asia-Pacific operations.
Victoria Clucas will become commercial director for DWF’s Asia-Pacific practices, developing the firm’s presence across the region, particularly in Singapore.
She is currently commercial director for the Middle East and North Africa operations and will retain her Middle East responsibilities.
Ms Clucas is also a partner for the global risks team, which advises insurers on complex property, energy and construction claims and coverage disputes.
Bill Evans, who is also on the global risks team, will become DWF’s Australian property lead while continuing in his role as global recoveries head.
Mr Evans specialises in managing complex, high-value property, energy and construction claims across Asia-Pacific, plus Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
“These appointments further emphasise the strong global connectivity that we are building across our insurance business,” DWF insurance services managing partner David Abbott said.
“From London to Canada, the Middle East to Australia and now looking beyond to APAC, we will continue to strengthen wherever our clients need us to be.”
The pair are expected to begin their new roles later this year.
