DWF hands out promotions
Law firm DWF has made a series of promotions across its Australian operations.
Casualty specialists Holly Turner and Hilary Lee and professional indemnity specialists Marissa Skaltsounis and John Dillon will be principal lawyers at the Sydney office.
Also in Sydney, Rebecca Dodd, Kelsey Fieldus and Matthew Rofe become senior associates.
Chris Forder, based in Melbourne, has been named a principal lawyer, specialising in PI and casualty matters.
The firm has also appointed Peter Brownless and Alex Gillan as casualty special counsels at its Newcastle office, while in Brisbane, Renee Wright becomes a casualty associate.
“These promotions reflect the investment in our colleagues and investment in meeting the requests of our loyal client base to continue to build out our depth to meet their service needs nationally,” DWF Australia MD Matt Curll said.
The firm says the appointments come amid “a period of rapid growth”. DWF has nearly doubled its workforce after acquiring Proclaim in 2024 and recruiting more than 60 employees, including nine partners, from Hall & Wilcox last year.
