Course examines operational risk standard
The Association of Insurance Building & Engineering Consultants has teamed up with Bond University to create a course on the CPS 230 operational risk management standard, aimed at insurance service providers such as consultants, builders and restorers.
The two-day course at the uni’s Gold Coast campus will be presented by Bond assistant professor Alex Lang, an innovation and project management expert, and AiBEC vice-chair Kate Middleton, an award-winning insurance industry executive.
The course, on June 10-11, involves a practical, hands-on learning experience and will be followed by a webinar, AiBEC says.
The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority standard took effect last year.
