Canopius has recruited Mark Butterworth as a professional lines underwriter.  

He is based in Melbourne and is responsible for growing the business’ presence there, plus its professional lines portfolio across Australia. He joins after two years at Dual as a financial lines senior underwriter and previously held roles at QBE, CGU and several broking businesses.  

Mr Butterworth will report to Canopius’ Asia-Pacific professional lines underwriter Rob Barnum, who says he “will play a key part in our continued growth in the market”.
