BMS Charity Cup raises funds to fight leukaemia
A touch football competition hosted by BMS in Queensland raised more than $25,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Some 260 insurance industry members competed in the Charity Cup at Ballymore Stadium in Brisbane on November 7.
Teams included AIG, Allianz/Coalition, Attvest, BHSI, Barry Nilsson/Suncorp, CGU, Chubb, Dual Australia, Epsilon, GT Insurance, HDI Global, Liberty Specialty Markets, McInnes Wilson Lawyers, NTI, QBE, Vero and Wotton Kearney. There was also a wildcard Barbarians team.
Team Chubb won the grand final, defeating Team Epsilon 2-0.
The event was “bigger, better and more impactful than ever”, BMS CEO Andrew Godden said.
“Congratulations to our back-to-back champions Chubb and runners-up Epsilon Underwriting for a thrilling grand final match. Thank you to all of our teams, event partners and supporters – the day would not have been a success without you.
“With so much momentum behind it, planning is already under way for an even bigger tournament. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the field in 2026.”
