Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance has appointed Anna Spink as head of marine for Australasia.

She will oversee lines including marine cargo, marine liability, marine hull, pleasure craft, plant and equipment, general property and heavy motor.  

Ms Spink joined BHSI in 2018 and was corporate property national manager before taking the new role, based in Sydney.  

Her previous experience includes 11 years at QBE across UK and Australian operations, and time at FM and Chubb.  

“Anna’s underwriting expertise, deep relationships with customers and brokers, and track record of exceptional service really underpin our ambition to continue building out our ocean and inland marine specialty portfolio,” BHSI Australasia president Mark Lingafelter said.
