Thomas Delaney has been appointed head of corporate at Aviso Specialty. 

Based in Melbourne with a national remit, Aviso says his appointment reflects "our ambition to create a corporate proposition that is broad but never generic". 

Mr Delaney has spent a decade at Marsh, most recently as head of commercial in Auckland where he has lived for four years. 

Aviso says he brings extensive leadership experience across Australia and New Zealand, strong market relationships and a track record of building and growing national businesses. 

He will lead growth of corporate business across Australia, with a focus on the middle market. 

“I want to build a highly competent, collaborative and ambitious team with no ego – people who are engaged, hungry to succeed and focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for clients," Mr Delaney said.
