The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance will hold this year’s general insurance breakfast on July 28.

The event promises a “stronger focus on the strategic, regulatory and commercial pressures redefining the industry”, the institute says.

“As customer expectations rise, regulatory scrutiny intensifies and market conditions continue to evolve, the event will explore a central question facing the sector.”

Headlining next month’s event is a debate billed as the Great Insurance Showdown.

“Returning for its second year, this dynamic format will once again bring the industry’s big questions to the table,” ANZIIF says. “Expect fresh perspectives, regulatory and policy updates, and valuable networking over a seated breakfast.”
