ANZIIF liability forum tackles ‘pressing issues’

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance has outlined the program for its liability conference.

It says the November 12 session will address the “most pressing liability issues”, including abuse claims, worker injuries, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, strata and energy transition exposure.

Axa XL head of casualty Kim McEwan and CHU Underwriting Agencies technical claims manager Vincent Norton-Scott are among speakers at the Sydney conference, which will also be held online.

“Liability insurance is rapidly evolving and staying ahead requires continual learning and collaboration,” ANZIIF industry engagement GM Mark Silveira said.
