Ansvar Insurance has appointed Gavin Gibson as head of commercial and corporate.  

Mr Gibson was most recently GM of operations at Zurich-owned Cover-More for almost three years.

He has also spent more than five years at Zurich, finishing as Asia-Pacific customer lead, and almost 17 years at QBE.

Ansvar says Mr Gibson has a track record of leading teams in claims, underwriting, product, customer experience and distribution.  

“Gavin is a great fit for Ansvar’s culture,” the faith-based insurer said.

Sydney-based Mr Gibson says he looks forward to “delivering service excellence and supporting the company’s strong value proposition, growth plans and community-focused mission”.
