Allianz and workers’ compensation claims manager EML Group have been named among Australia’s top large employers in this year’s Great Place to Work rankings.

Also on the list, in the medium and small employer categories, are Assurant, AUB Group and Austbrokers Comsure, Berkley Insurance Company, Community Broker Network, General Reinsurance Life Australia, Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers, Greenstone Financial Services, Insurance Advisernet, Lockton Companies Australia, Markel, MetLife and National Credit Insurance (Brokers).

The annual report says 83% of Allianz Australia employees rate the insurer a great place to work, compared with 60% at a typical company in Australia.

Allianz is seventh on the workplace researcher’s list of companies with more than 1000 employees – up three places from 2024.
