This year’s Association of Insurance Building & Engineering Consultants conference will be held on July 22.

The event at Swissotel Sydney – themed “delivering best practice through expertise in claims consulting” – promises networking with engineers, builders, claims specialists, loss adjusters, brokers and insurers.

The line-up of speakers includes Insurance Council of Australia GM Alexandra Hordern, NSW assistant building commissioner Matt Press, Sedgwick’s James McIntosh and Greg Towle, Hutch Underwriting’s Penny Allanson, Suncorp’s Grant McIntosh, Natalie Major and Kerrie Arrow, insurance ombudsman Emma Curtis, University of Sydney academic Yixiang Gan, Financial Rights Legal Centre officer Julia Davis, builder RCC’s GM Veronica Turner, General Insurance Code Governance Committee GM Prue Monument, and AiBEC CEO Tony Libke and chair Deniz Bekir.
