AFCA forum to shed light on complaints data
The Australian Financial Complaints Authority will hold a member forum on April 28-29 focusing on dispute trends and data across insurance and other financial sectors.
The event will open with an address from chief ombudsman and CEO David Locke as part of a plenary session with AFCA’s executive team, which will provide updates on operations and priorities.
A program on general insurance will be held from 11am-noon on the second day, followed by a life insurance session from 12.30pm-1.30pm.
All AFCA members can register for the event, which will include Q&As with expert speakers for each session.
“Hear the latest trends and insights we are seeing in financial complaints, learn about AFCA’s approach to different complaints through real case studies, and how we can work together to resolve complaints more effectively,” the authority said.
