Zurich grows with Crop Risk partnership

Zurich has started offering agriculture insurance under an agreement with specialist agency Crop Risk Underwriting.

The insurer will provide capacity for the agency’s broadacre and cotton crop products.

Zurich head of general insurance Alex Morgan says the partnership “not only offers a unique opportunity to expand into a new market, but also to collaborate with a specialist, data-driven organisation with sophisticated capability.

“The combination of both organisations will build a true powerhouse in the agricultural protection sector.”

Crop Risk Underwriting also offers perennial tree and vine cover and is majority owned by agency group 360 Underwriting Solutions.
