SRG brings employee benefits offer to market
London-based underwriting agency and broking business Specialist Risk Group will offer its suite of employee benefits solutions in Australia.
SRG, which launched here in February, has solutions for life and total and permanent disability, salary continuance, private medical insurance, health and wellbeing, and employee assistance programs for mid-market and international clients.
NSW-based Travis Bailey has been appointed head of employee benefits for Australia, supported by Valentina Setiawan and Nicholas Chappell.
“Employee benefits are no longer a support function, they’re a strategic lever,” said Mr Bailey, who previously worked at Honan. “Our focus is on helping clients design programs that reflect their culture and respond to real workforce challenges, from wellbeing to retention.”
SRG says a strong and clearly defined employee value proposition is essential for retaining talent. Its offer “enhances their sense of security and belonging, creating a more resilient and committed workforce”.
MD Laurence Basell says the launch is a key step towards building a full-service specialist platform in Australia.
“Clients want a partner that can help them compete for talent,” he said. “Our employee benefits team brings together local expertise and global capability to deliver exactly that.”
