PNOinsurance has opened a Sydney office and made two key appointments as it pursues growth across the Australian middle market. 

“We’ve serviced a quality portfolio of Sydney-based clients for many years, and this expansion allows us to better support them while continuing to grow nationally,” MD Peter Conquest said.

The Melbourne-headquartered brokerage has appointed former Gallagher Australia manager for corporate in NSW Ben Gordon – who has more than 20 years’ industry experience – as director of PNO Sydney. Mathew Perri becomes a founding team member.

“While I’ve loved my time working in the corporate space, I see a great opportunity to support privately owned and mid-market businesses with genuine, relationship-driven service,” Mr Gordon said.

PNO was established in 1977 and also has offices in Gippsland and the Gold Coast. It says further recruitment is now under way.
